Black & White City Scape..... with just a hint of color

July 31, 2017

I wanted to take a different approach with my city scape and remove the color that I love so much.  For this piece I liked the idea of one hue showing through the black and white paint.  I started with a base coat of gold acrylic.  I then painted the city scape with oil on top.  Using a palette knife, I scaped away areas of oil to allow the gold hue to shine through.  You didn't think I could avoid color all together did you......????  ;)
