As a painting major I always felt pressure to "go big!" However, recently I've really been drawn to the smaller canvases. There is somethign fun about painting an entire city scape in a small space, traping that energy in a way that almost burst out of the space. I can't say I wont go back to the large, epic canvases of my past but for now, smaller is better.
